Well I've been here for a whole month now. Not really anything to exciting going on, right now I'm watching the Padres game on tv they just struck out Barry Bonds I love it!!
Shannon is at work until 10:45pm so I'm having a Josh night watching baseball and playing on the computer.
As it relates to my job situation I found a company who is in the process of getting the paperwork I'll need to get my work permit so maybe in a month I'll have a job!!!
Shannon and I hung out in downtown Calgary yesterday I was able to do some sightseeing as she was downtown registering for school and taking a couple tests. I went to Olympic park (a park and big fountain/wadding pool from when Calgary had the Olympics back in the 80's) I should have brought the camera maybe next time...
My 30th birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. Still can't believe I'll be 30 seems like yesterday I was a teen thinking how far away 30 would be now it's 12 days away I'm excited about getting to go see Josh Groban that night Thanks to Shannon's mom who got us tickets :-)

Hi Josh,
You didn't mention on the phone about the possibility of a job in a month. What company is it? We'll keep praying that it will happen for sure. Be sure to take pictures (if you can) at the Josh Groban concert. This will be one of your highlights for sure. And don't feel bad about turning 30 - every birthday Papa says, "I don't feel any different!" But sometimes you'll get to the point of forgetting your age because in your subconscious you want to be younger or when you get much "older" - it's called a senior moment. You've got a long ways to go for that to happen. Hope I can forward this on to you.

oh crap. you're 30 tomorrow!. the scary part is that that means that im gonna be 30 soon too. damn we're getting old fast. glad to see everything is well with you and you're figuring out the job and visa stuff ok. it's all a little complicated but you only have to do it once i hope. when's your deer season?
